You can never, ever stop

Over the weekend I heard an incredible account of an entrepreneur's path to success. His story was like a rollercoaster ride at Six Flags.

When he started out pursing his passion of starting companies, he was married with two kids and was working night and day to provide for his family through his pursuit. He fell flat on his face time, after time, after time, etc. He would start a new business and would give it everything he had to make it successful, but it wasn't enough at the time. It got to the point to where he and his family had put everything into this pursuit, which unfortunately led to he and his wife filing for personal bankruptcy. But he still believed, and still pursued. Thankfully, he had a wife that supported him 100% through thick and thin.

After getting back on their feet, he pushed even harder instead of giving up. You know where the story goes from here. He succeeded through his next several ventures. Any fear of failure had left him because he knew what it was like to hit rock-bottom and knew he could will himself to get right back up. He is now a very successful entrepreneur that has had several exits. His advice:

"You can never, ever stop trying. If you stop, you guarantee failure. The key to my success was that I never gave up and never stopped trying. And I wasn't going to stop trying until I succeeded. That is why my story is a success story."

Be smart about how you pursue your passions, but never stop. Never settle. Venture on.
