In his commencement speech to the 2005 Stanford graduates, Steve Jobs ended with a quote from Whole Earth Magazine: "Stay hungry. Stay foolish."
I have this written on a picture hanging on my wall over my computer as a daily reminder of how I should pursue my passions day in and day out. What an incredibly loaded, simplified message. What he is encouraging us to do is to never stop challenging convention, to never stop pushing our limits and testing boundaries. We should never settle and live life to the fullest, maximizing each gift that we have been given. And as we pursue our passions, be aware of any dangers or pitfalls, but do not let them slow you down in the slightest. Pursue with vigor and determination. It is how we learn best. It is how we grow, both individually and collectively. That is what Venture On is all about.
